Recipe #1: Berry Explosion Smoothie
Nothing beats a berry smoothie after a hardcore sweat session. We are no strangers to sweat, or yummy smoothies. Check out this Berry Explosion Smoothie recipe via Vega.
Ingredients:
• ¼ cup frozen blueberries
• ¼ cup frozen strawberries or raspberries
• ½ banana
• 1 serving Vega One Berry
• 1 cup cold water (optional unsweetened berry juice)
• 2 or 3 ice cubes (optional)
Recipe #2: Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie
Autumn is here, and that means pumpkin pie, pumpkin seeds, pumpkin oatmeal, and pumpkin smoothies, of course! Check out this recipe via Tasty Yummies Blog.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup organic coconut milk
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1/2 cup organic pumpkin puree
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 pack of Vega One French Vanilla
Recipe #3: Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie
Chocolate is my first name, peanut butter my second name. After finishing a 20 mile race in Lake Tahoe this weekend, peanut butter was all that I craved. Adding peanut butter to a smoothie = extra protein and deliciousness. This recipe is perfect for post run, zumba, cycle, you name it!
Ingredients
• 1 tablespoon crunchy, all natural peanut butter
• ½ banana
• 1 cup cold, unsweetened almond milk
• 1 serving Vega One Chocolate
• 2 or 3 ice cubes (optional)
